The OSCAR model is one of the most versatile in the EURASPIEGEL portfolio. This model allows the implementation of practically all ideas around the cutting-edge design theme of “cropped circles” – reason enough to give shape to the versatile all-rounder in its own series.
The variation of the circular shape can be freely determined with individual diameters from 500 to 1,600 mm *. In addition, the gate can be defined in terms of its position (horizontal / vertical / diagonal), its length, as well as the number of cuts (one to three).
Thanks to these degrees of freedom in contour design, many typical installation situations can be reproduced, which EURASPIEGEL has compiled in 11 basic layouts. OSCAR enables implementations from the wide double washbasin solution to the narrow mirror in the guest toilet. And it becomes a design highlight that can be flexibly adapted to a wide variety of installation situations thanks to a wide range of geometric and technical options.
The basic lighting concept emphasizes the curves with a directly radiating mirror edge with a 20 mm wide satin finish and thus at the same time provides an attractive basic light in front of the mirror. This is complemented by circumferential, indirect ambient lighting, which also gently plays around the straight cuts and also illuminates the washbasin.
In variants with mounting on the washbasin, indirect lighting is omitted on the side in question. In its place is a spacer profile made of aluminium, which prevents impact damage and allows professional silicone sealing to the bathroom furniture.
The OSCAR concept also offers flexibility in terms of lighting technology: the LED light strips shine either in permanently configurable light colours (3,000 or 4,000 Kelvin) or in finely tunable nuances between 2,700 and 5,600 Kelvin by means of a colour change option. The control of lighting moods and light intensity is child’s play via “NO-TOUCH” gesture control or “TOUCH-DIMM” switches that can be integrated into the mirror surface. This means that the atmosphere can be adapted to any mood in no time at all – from functional lighting in the morning to relaxing scenery in the evening.
Another exciting option for individual design is the alternative colour variants for the mirror surface, which OSCAR harmoniously matches to personal preference in the shades of bronze, Natura or grey. In addition, a mirror heating system can be added to prevent the mirror from fogging up. The optional Bluetooth sound system provides a sensual extra, bringing your favourite music directly into the mirror.
The equipment is rounded off on request by a glass shelf made of satin-finished white glass glued directly to the mirror, which combines practical function with subtle elegance.
